The i-Cell range of cellular communication products are ideal for utility, IoT, retail and many other applications because they are compact and cost effective.

The i-Cell CEWE is a bespoke version for the CEWE Prometer and plugs directly to the meter via a 500mm flying RJ45 cable. Power is via separate plug in PSU, adapter cables for industry standard mains power supplies available.

A suitable antenna can be fitted via the flying lead or mounted remotely via an extension cable if required. It's small size and light weight means it is easily mounted under the meter cover.

The i-Cell CEWE 4G modem supports worldwide 4G Category 1 bis as an always on network, offering improved performance over LTE M1/NB1 (NBloT) communications for many applications, as well as providing legacy 2G quad band support.

lt features a maximum downlink and uplink data rate of approx 10Mbps. This next generation product supports all the new features specified by 3GPP to boost loT applications, such as Power Saving Mode (PSM) and extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX), which along with proprietary firmware from Wireless lnnovation allows the modem to wake up periodically to deliver data and then go back to sleep, providing ultra low power consumption for long term battery applications.
